What is your denomination?
I was raised in the Catholic tradition, though I am not currently a practicing member. I believe in the absolute right to freedom of worship. I strive to do what is right at all times.

When should I book?
The earlier the better. Please keep in mind that I cannot guarantee your date until you make a deposit.

Do you perform same-sex marriages or civil unions?
Yes! I believe that all love deserves the dignity and respect of marriage.

May we have family and friends do readings or participate?
Of course. If you choose the customized wedding ceremony, we will work together to include anything you wish.

Do you do rehearsals?
Yes. Please be aware that rehearsals often take longer than the actual wedding and an hourlong rehearsal is included in your fees, should you choose the custom ceremony.

What will you wear to our wedding?
I will try to accomodate your reasonable requests. Generally, I will wear a simple, yet appropriate, dress. If your wedding is more formal, I will dress accordingly. The same applies to less formal events.

Will you travel to our event?
Yes, as long as it is within the state of Connecticut. I am willing to travel out of state and make those arrangements for an additional fee.

Do you stay for the reception?
That is entirely at the discretion of the couple; please do not feel obligated. Generally, the officiant does not stay unless they are particularly close with the couple. If the officiant does stay, it is customary to include the officiant's partner.

Will you take formal photographs?
Yes, as long as they are within a reasonable amount of time relative to the ceremony.

Do you require pre-marital counseling?
    No, I do not.

Do I need witnesses?
No. Witnesses are not required in Connecticut.

Do I need a blood test to get married in Connecticut?
No. There is no blood test requirement in the state of Connecticut.
